14th December 2018 - 14th February 2019 Portcullis House Houses of Parliament, London
28th February - 14th April 2019 Open Eye Gallery Liverpool
On 14th December 1918 women were allowed to vote for the first time; and in that same year the first woman MP was elected. To mark this significant moment in history, new photographic portraits of all 209 women MPs have been created exclusively by 209 women photographers; and this newly created exhibition is now hanging in the once male-dominated gallery at Portcullis House.
Wendy Carrig had the honor of photographing Dr.Rosena Allin-Khan, MP for Tooting and the Shadow Minister for Sport.
